John has been a life long member of the church of Christ, joining the Bay City CofC in 1981. He has served as a teacher, deacon of education, and as an Elder, and was reappointed as an Elder in April 2025. John and his wife Lynda love serving in the Kingdom. They have 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
